Planica, Planica the Snow Queen! Who doesn't know her - the beauty of the snow?
 

Departure of the bus in front of the agreed place at 7:00 am and drive in the direction of Planica, where we will have a guided tour of the Nordic Center Planica, which includes a tour of the central running facility for ski jumps and the museum. The Nordic Center includes the Center for Ski Jumping and Flying and the Center for Cross-Country Skiing. It also includes a system for artificial snow, cable cars, an athletic football stadium, cycling and walking trails, a cultural heritage park, an information space with a restaurant, and quality tourist and sports services will also be provided. The Nordic Center also includes the Planiška Museum, which is dedicated to the history of ski jumping and flying in Planica, presents the development of the world record for ski jumping in Planica, the development of ski jumping technique and the development of Bloudek's giant and the Gorišek Brothers Flying Club. The museum collection is divided into two floors, which we will be happy to see.

Further on, the path will lead us to the Avsenik Museum in Begunje in Gorenjska. In the birth house of legendary artists, Slavko Avsenik and Vilko Avsenik, we will see an interesting story of a global musical phenomenon. In a guided tour of the museum, we will get to know the instruments and costumes that Slavko Avsenik wore at concerts, various recognitions and awards in the field of music, and gold, platinum and diamond records for many sold records. We will also watch a short documentary about the Avsenik ensemble, with archival footage. We will also step to the grave where Slavko Avsenik rests. Our stomachs will also be taken care of. We will treat ourselves to a good lunch in the famous Inn and Restaurant near Jožovec. The path will take us further towards Bled, one of the most beautiful tourist centers in Slovenia. Free time for a walk follows, but of course we will not forget the Bled slice (cream cheese), which we can afford in the Park café, which is located on the shores of Lake Bled. Followed by the return to home, where we arrive in the evening.
