Drive with us into a fairytale landscape, nestled halfway between the Alps and the Adriatic, with an abundance of beauties, attractions and experiences - visit the land of intoxicating moments, Goriška Brda!
 

Departure at 06:15 in the morning from Brežice, at 07:00 from Novo mesto (Qlandia). Drive past our capital Ljubljana, from where we descend towards Primorska and make our first stop at the Lom rest area. Followed by a drive to Solkan, where we cross the border with Italy, to the lookout tower Gonjača, The tower was built in 1961 and stands next to the monument to 315 victims of the Second World War, it is 23 m high and 144 steps lead to the top. From the top we will be able to admire the beautiful view, which in good weather reaches all four sides of the sky: Brda, Julian and Carnic Alps, Dolomites, Friuli, the Gulf of Trieste, the Karst, the Vipava Valley and the Trnovo Forest.

From the lookout tower we head towards the Peace Park on Sabotin. Sabotin has important historical, cultural and natural value. We will listen to the story of Sabotin and, accompanied by a licensed guide, visit the caverns, ditches and the museum of the First World War. After the tour, we will refresh ourselves with homemade venison goulash.

We descend from Sabotin and visit the largest producer and exporter of Slovenian wines - Klet Brda. They export their wines to as many as 26 countries around the world, and the cellar brings together as many as 400 Brda wine-growing families, who have been co-creating the success story of Brda winemaking for more than half a century. We meet the heroes of the vineyards, listen to their story and indulge in a tasting of One Noble Story. To complete the measure, we drive to one of the most beautiful castles in the Goriška region, which also represents the center of Brda - Dobrovo Castle. We will explore Briška Butiehca and see the exterior of the castle and its surroundings.

We will round off the experience of Goriška Brda with a visit to the award-winning tourist farm, which is surrounded by a rich family history, and their visitors are greeted by the authenticity, homeliness and warmth of the hosts. They will serve us excellent home-made delicacies.

With beautiful memories of Goriška Brda, we set off on the way home, where we arrive in the late evening.
