Drive with us to the historic town of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Mostar and join us on a spiritual journey to the famous pilgrimage center in the Balkan - Medjugorje.
 

Day 1: Brežice - Novo mesto - Metlika - Karlovac - Bihać - Mostar - Međugorje

Departure of the bus from Brežice at 4:00 am and drive in the direction of MP Metlika, past Karlovac and Plitvice Lakes over MP Ličko Petrovo Selo to Bihać, where we make a short stop. Followed by a drive to the city on the Neretva - Mostar. We will visit the famous "Old Bridge" - a stone bridge built in the 16th century by order of Suleiman the Magnificent. It was demolished during the war and rebuilt in 2004 and is now under UNESCO protection. We will walk around the "kujundžiluk" (old bazaar), and we should not miss the Karađoz-Beg mosque and the Mehmed Pasha mosque. After visiting the city, we will have an even shorter drive to our final destination - Medjugorje, where we will be accommodated in a hotel and mass in the parish church. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Medjugorje

Breakfast, morning mass and ascent to Crnica, where in June 1981 Marija appeared to children from the surrounding area for the first time. At this place now stands a statue of Mary, erected to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the apparition. Some time for lunch and a visit to the Cenacolo commune, afternoon free for self-guided tours, personal devotions, souvenir shopping,… Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Medjugorje - Makarska - Karlovac - MP Metlika - Novo mesto - Brežice

Breakfast, morning mass, hike to the hill Križevac. In 1934, a 12m high concrete cross was built on it. The Cross also incorporates relics from the Cross of Christ, obtained from Rome. From the foothills to the top of Križevec, the Way of the Cross with 14 stations has been set up, which was renovated in 2001. Followed by departure towards the home past Makarska, a tour of the Croatian Lourdes in Vepric, continuing the drive towards the home with a stopover for lunch. Arrival in Brežice in the evening.​
