We will be driving in an exclusive panoramic cabrio bus that will allow us to get a good sense of the atmosphere and the diverse landscape that is Bizeljsko. The drive will show us that Bizeljsko is truly the land of wines, with its hills filled with vineyards and wine cellar caves which are called “repnica”. They were originally used for storing turnips – in Slovenian language “repa” hence the name “repnica”. We will visit one of the wine cellars and take the journey into the delightful world of wine.
We will continue our journey to the smallest wine cellar in Bizeljsko where we will enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding area and the church of »Sv. Vid«. We will visit historically and culturally rich places that are often missed by regular tourists. We will drive by the castle of Bizeljsko and the church of St. Lawrence. We will conclude our panoramic drive through Bizeljsko in the local pub called »Pivoteka« where they serve snacks and beer “by the meter”.
