Kostanjevica na Krki is known as the "Slovenian Venice" and it represent the pearl of the region Dolenjska.
Our sightseeing bus will take us to the outskirts of Gorjanci Hills. Right at the beginning of the route, we will admire the beauty of the Krka and Sava river at the confluence in Čatež ob Savi.
In the comfort of the panoramic journey we will admire the picturesque village of carefully cultivated fields and green meadows and in the distance, flat hills Gorjanci. We will stop in the village of Sajevce, where we will visit the Iron Age barrow cemetery. Just a few minutes drive ahead, we will be welcomed in Kostanjevica - the smallest and one of the oldest Slovenian towns. Rich in its cultural herritage - Church of St. Jacob, wooden bridges on the north and south side of the island – Kostanjevica really does represent one of the towns in region Posavje that are a »must visit«. Local boats will take as around the island, admiring its beauty, and the harbor. After that we will taste some of the local delicacies.
We will continue our trip to Malence, a place that is known by the second thickest oak tree on the Slovenian territory. Our last stop will be the marshy area on the outskirts of »Krakovski« forest, where we will explore the secrets of the rainforest. Definitely full of pleasant experiences and impressions, we will return to the starting point.
