There is a place of hidden and untouched nature, where the marshes and meadows along the river Sotla present a home to many rare and threatened species of flora and fauna. Visit our Natural Park Jovsi - the pearl of nature in the Posavje region.
Our panoramic sightseeing bus will take us along the eastern part of the region Posavje to the village Kapele and the Natural Park Jovsi. There we will be greeted by the representatives of this vast park. The National park Jovsi extends on an area of 2.900ha. The habitat for endangered animals was preserved due to traditional farming techniques.
Our hosts will take us to the information room, where we will see a documentary about the national park and learn from colourful informative boards and various animations. The location also represents a starting point for hiking trails, intended for nature and animal lovers. After the presentation we will take a hike on Koščevo path that leads from Kapele to the edge of the Natural Park Jovsi. By observing the nature and using the information boards on the path, we will learn about the preserved natural habitat of the forest with its animal inhabitants. We will visit the observation tower and look through binoculars and observe the endangered flora and fauna of the natural park.
After our return from the hiking path, we will conclude our adventure through the natural park with a tasting of local delicacies.
